Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming higher education by influencing teaching, student engagement, assessment, and competency development. In management education, AI can strengthen Outcome-Based Education (OBE) through personalised learning, feedback, and development of industry-relevant skills. This study comparatively examines the impact of AI on student learning outcomes in India and selected countries, with a focus on undergraduate management education. It evaluates the relationship between AI adoption and key outcomes such as academic performance, engagement, critical thinking, problem-solving, digital competency, decision-making, and employability skills. The study also considers AI literacy, institutional support, faculty readiness, and accessibility as factors influencing learning outcomes. Through comparative analysis, the research aims to identify differences, common patterns, and effective approaches to AI integration in management education and provide insights for improving OBE and developing future-ready managerial competencies.
